ICloud Activation lock? Downgrade to iOS 6 to remove?

So I stupidly bought an iPhone 5C from eBay… It turns out it has the iOS 7 activation lock on it, I can't get anywhere with it and need to remove this blimmin' iCloud account, so if I was to put the device into Recovery/DFU mode and downgrade it to iOS 6 would this somehow remove the problem?

You should have verified it, had you asked the question here a 100 people would have told you that first. You are stuck as thats a security feature. Contact the seller to see if they can get it removed, but if its stolen then nothing you can do.

If they sold you that without telling you, then report it to ebay and try to get your money back and put bad feedback on their profile. But if they told you that and you bought anyways, then its your issue.

Unfortunately you can't. Once iCloud security installed and activated it typically can only be removed remotely by the account holder. Trying to downgrade can't happen, nothing can happen unless it can be taken off. Yeah, the security feature is doing exactly what is was designed to do. Can you contact that account holder and ask them?
This function may work but will only give you certain functions--not many at all.
