If i have a second hand iphone can i use it on pay as you go?
My friend says i can have his iphone when his contract runs out, but i don't want a contract i only use pay as you go so will i be able to do this on the phone or not. (i know it won't give me internet and stuff but i don't midn) thanks
Any phone can be on contract or pay as you go, it just depends on what sim you use. For example, i have an iPhone on contract, if i was to take my sim card out and give it you my phone, you would then put your pay as you go sim card in the phone and it would then become pay as you go. And then, say you wanted to change to contract, you'd go and set one up at the phone shop and then you'd change the sim card to a contract sim.
So when your friends contract ends, he'll be able to upgrade/cancel that contract and put his sim in a different phone, so then you can put your pay as you go sim in his old phone and it will work like any other pay as you go phone.
