Iphone 3gs earpiece do not work but speaker work?
My iphone 3gs earpiece does not work, when I answer my phone i can't hear it but when I turn on the speaker and put on my ear I can hear, so I want to know what is the actual cause of this. Where is the source from the iphone that allow me to hear through the earpiece?
It's more than likely a hardware failure. Just to be sure, you could restore your phone. Otherwise, the earpiece speaker needs to be replaced.
- Why is apple jumping straight to iphone 8 and not 7s and 7s plus? In the past we saw the 4s,5s,6s,3gs, etc. But why not 7s? Can you tell me why they might be skipping the s series? Or is the iphone 8 going to be called the iphone 7s?
- Why does my iPhone only work on speaker but not regular? If I receive a phone call (the ringer works) I can only hear the caller if it's on speaker. Also if I play a song (music or YouTube) it doesn't play out loud, but I see the little equalizer thinkers going.

- On the iphone 4s, what is that black thing on top of the earpiece/speaker? I'm trying to debate what color iphone 4s to get since i'm getting one tomorrow. I noticed that on the white iphone 4s there's a black line above the speaker/earpiece, and that isn't there on the black one. What is that? I'm referring to this
