Iphone 4s and pioneer car system problems?

When I try to connect my iPhone 4s to my cd player in my car (pioneer) It always says "check usb" and won't let me do any other option. I've tried switching the cord, and even using my old ipod touch and I still get the same error message. Even when I unplug everything, when I go to change it, it will still come up and nothing will be in my usb part. It doesn't even try to charge it, or connect it.

Try resetting the stereo. If it has a removable faceplate, pull it off. Under it you will see a small hole with a button inside. Press and hold the button for 5 seconds with a paperclip or a pin.
If that doesn't fix it, I would say that the USB port in the stereo is damaged.

  • Why does my Pioneer car deck skip? I have a DEH-X6500BT. When I use it for Pandora, it doesn't skip, but when I plug my iPhone into it (or use the bluetooth connectivity) it will start playing a song for a while (usually around a minute and thirty seconds), and then I hear a whoosh, the song gets muffled, and it skips to the next song. What's up with this?
  • What is the best speaker for a car? And MP3/CD Deck for a car? Eventually when I get my main car, I want to get great speakers for my car. I know BestBuy sells most of the speakers for cars. But i'm wondering what good speakers for cars are. Not the brand but what the Best Features are for car speakers. I would also need to get a iPod/iPhone-Ready CD Deck, so I also need to know good brands and features for that.
  • Problem with my Pioneer stereo system in my car? I have a Pioneer stereo system in my RAV4.It works great with the radio and with CDs, but when I have my iPhone plugged into the auxiliary input, the sound only comes out of the right side. I have replaced the cable several times so I know my cable isn't the problem. I've also tested other devices, so I know it's not just my phone either. Anyone know what the problem is? Any help is appreciated!
  • Pioneer DEH-2400UB car stereo, iphone accessibility? I've been watching some reviews online, and it seems as if everyone is using a specialised cable to plug their iphones or ipods in that isn't the standard one you get from apple, i was wondering if you can jus simply plug the standard one that apple gave you into the stereo and if that will work?
