IPhone 5 headphones not working?

I have a pair of iPhone 5 headphones and just recently they don't work on the right earbud (the one with the volume control etc.). They were totally fine this morning, but since then I had wound them up on a headphone holder and wrapped them around quite tightly, but even then I'm not sure if that's what did it. Is there any way I can fix the right earbud? I have twisted the headphone jack (the metal part), put it inside multiple other devices (phone, computer, etc.), and tried moving around the chords, but still it doesn't work. Is there any way I can fix it, so I don't have to buy a new pair? Also, I bought my iPhone 5 in December, so it'll be on warranty until around Christmas this year. Does the warranty for the iPhone 5 (headphones were in the box) also apply for the headphones?

Well, the head phones that come with it aren't the best, so I would suggest buying a new pair

  • Why aren't my headphones working in my iPhone? I have ink'd earphones and they are pretty much brand new. I got them a few weeks ago and they were working just fine until about yesterday. One of my phone's speakers is broken and doesn't make any sound at all. The other one doesn't sound good either. After I used Radio Shark it started working funny. The sound on any website even YouTube will now just stop and then continue to play and it isn't because it's buffering.
  • Why aren't my headphones to my iPhone 4s not working? I just got the iPhone 4s a couple of months ago. I haven't even touched my headphones until last night, & they're not working? I'm trying to listen to Pandora. I dunno what's going on. It seems if I screw in the headphones extra tight and keep hold it plays through the headphones for a second. Anyone else have this problem or know why this is happening?
  • Speakers not working after plugging headphones in? I dropped my iphone 6 in the bath and the speakers weren't working for like an hour however would work with headphones, I tried cleaning the headphone jack with a q tip however that didn't do anything but it randomly just turned back on however now whenever I put my headphones on and then take them out it takes about 2 minutes for the speakers to work again, help?!
  • My normal headphones won't work after using Bluetooth headphones? (iPhone 7)? I've been using AirPods for a couple months now and the battery is getting pretty bad so I decided to get some plug-in Apple headphones but those don't work. When I plug them in I get a "not supported" notification. I've also tried friends headphones that worked fine on there phone, so I know it's not just faulty wires.
