IPhone 5 problem (text messages)?

So for the past 2 days iv been getting random text messages from an unknown number. I realized it was messages of my mom and her bosses conversation (nothing innapropriate just business stuff) but why am I getting these I'm not included in their conversation. Her boss does not have my phone number and I don't have her bosses phone number but my mom has both of our numbers. Could she have accidentally pressed something while we were texting or talking on the phone that would have made it so It sends me their messages when they talk via text?

  • Why is my iPhone5 sending some messages as iMessage and others as Text Messages? I understand that messages are sent as Text Messages when there's no signal or poor Wi-Fi connection. However, I'm successfully texting some people using iMessage but others (still iPhone users) as Text messages. The other person will send iMessages and then my responses will be sent as green Text Messages.
  • When I receive text messages with emojis from an iPhone, why do the messages only appear partially? My phone is a "Verizon Samsung Intensity II" slide phone. (Also it's blue but that doesn't matter.) Also, if I'm included in an iPhone group chat (spoiled rich friends, but not snobby…), I get each posted message as a separate message, so I'll end up randomly with 67 unread messages clogging up my inbox.
  • Problem with text messages on the iphone? This started to occur after I downloaded ios 6. Okay for some reason when my dad sends a text, it says that he sent it, but also I sent it too. For example, if he asks, "where are you?" my phone says two people sent it, him and myself. Also, when people text him, I get the texts as well. It shows the conversations between him and other people as if I was the one who sent them. It's like our numbers are linked or something. Does anyone know how to fix this?
