Iphone 6 dropped in water, been in rice for 3 days, flashes when trying to charge?

Added (1). I just tried to plug it into my computer, the apple screen popped up for a few seconds then when dark and then popped up again, when i could see the screen it still looks quite damaged with water, i've put it back in rice… Have i lost all hope?

Thats a shame, it might be gone. I wouldnt keep plugging it in, maybe try taking it apart to let it dry better, just the screen or so

Four more days in the rice,
and if after that it still doesn't work, it might be finished.

The rice trick doesn't work except for water that is on the outside of your phone. It can't "suck" the water from inside your phone. Most likely the damage has already been done and can't be reversed, no matter what you do.

You could try putting your phone in your kitchen stove's oven on VERY low heat for several hours, in an attempt to evaporate the water that's inside. But, if the damage has already been done, even this won't help.

Your phone is gone. Rice won't help dry the internal components of the phone.

The same thing happened with my old iPhone 6. The rice didn't work and the screen would flash stripes and then go dark.
I took it to a cell repair shop and they only had to replace the screen. It cost $50, took 10 minutes and the phone worked fine.

Sorry to say, but it is gone. Time to get a new iPhone. In your case, I would recommend the iPhone 6S
