IPHONE ISSUE! So i droped my iphone in a bucket of water and it still works but there's water in it. I can hear it moving?

Inside the phone and i don't know what to do.

Get a big ziploc bag, fill it with enough rice to fully cover your phone, leave it overnight and the rice should suck out most of the water from the inside of the phone.

Burying the phone in rice is what everyone recommends, and I guess it must work if everyone recommends it. (You know, the mean RAW rice, you know, DRY rice.)

But you can go to your local hobby store and buy silica gel in bulk. Silica gel is what's inside those little packages that come in packaging that are labeled 'Do Not Eat' (though I don't know why someone would want to eat the stuff!) If you bury the phone in silica gel, that ought to do a much better job of drying it out.

If you have your phone turned on, and you KNOW there's water inside, it's either already damaged or will be soon, if you leave the power on.

Power in an electronic device is intended to flow ONLY across the printed circuits. Water is a conductor of electricity, so it allows the power to flow anywhere and everywhere, causing short circuits and other damage.

If your phone is truly still working correctly now, and you believe there's water inside, TURN IT OFF IMMEDIATELY, and then attempt to dry it out. If that works, you were lucky. Be aware that iPhones have a sensor on the motherboard that can tell if the device has been exposed to water. If the indicator shows water contact, your options for repair and insurance coverage are significantly limited.

Turn off the phone and keep it in a bowl of raw rice. Let it sit for a day or two and then turn on the phone.
