IPhones automatically download apps without permission?
My family purchased two iphone 4s for Christmas and when one iphone downloads an app, the other iphone automatically downloads the app as well.
How do I stop this quite annoying recurring event?
Turn off iCloud
You have to use different Apple IDs.
Apple now automatically syncs All devices connected to a specific ID. If you don't want to receive downloads that the other person is doing, then make a new account.
Icloud… Same account on both… Thats a feature, you can set it up to install on ipad and iphone, etc. Turn it off if you don't want that.
- Would it be okay to put logos of other companies in without permission in my art? I'm joining this nationwide art competition in my country with the theme of "consumerism." I'm planning on putting an iPhone on my artwork but instead it will say iDiot. Will designing it in a slightly altered way avoid lawsuits? Do you think the competition will reject my entry if they saw a representation of the iPhone? It will not be the main object in my piece, just a little accessory. Like really small.
- Would I need permission to use quotes from a game? I'm in the middle of creating a soundboard application for the iPhone and the quotes are from the game: GTA: San Andreas. Yes I know its old; its a classic. I'm going to be selling the app for £0.69 and was wondering if I needed specific rights from Rockstar to use them. - Will my iphone info automatically sync without permission? I'm babysitting and I have my iphone plugged into their computer to charge. I just want to make sure all of my pictures won't upload to their computer. The computer is locked but it's still charging. I also put "don't trust" on the prompt that popped up on my phone about sharing with that computer. I just want to make sure lol.
- Someone took a picture of me without permission? I was in a toilet cubicle in school and I was pulling down my skirt when I noticed someone's iphone over the top of the cubicle (the back wall). I don't know if they saw anything but I was so embarrassed and feel sick even thinking about it now. What should I do? My mum says to report it but I'm so embarrassed.
