Is 300mb enough data for an iPhone?

I want to upgrade to an iPhone with the 300mb plan on att I'm just going to text and occasionally check my twitter is it enough data to last me a month?

If you only check twitter it should be but if download apps and check your email and use gps definantly not

I would say no. The reason being is that every time you check your twitter, you use date. Also, if you check your mail from your phone, that uses data too. Even if you play some games on your phone or use a few other apps, you use data. Also, unless you turn your location settings off ad other things like that, your phone is constantly using data. It won't take long at all for that 300mb to be used up and then you'll get hit with outrageous fees.

300 will be plenty, I check stocks, news, sports… Everyday… And I'm around 200 meg a month. If you watch online video that will consume it quickly but I don't do any of that stuff.

  • Would 300MB of data be enough for this kind of use? I have an iPhone 5 and I was wondering if I'd need any more than 300MB of data? I have Wi-Fi everywhere I go, the network in my area is terrible (0.01 Mbps). I've had my phone for a little over a week and I've only reached 7MB out of 3GB. HOWEVER, the 3GB plan is only $10 more than the 300MB plan… Plus, I have a trip coming up and I was thinking of using my phone as a GPS, but I don't know how much data I'll use. :\
  • Would 300mb of data be enough for and iPhone 4s? I'm looking into getting an iPhone 4s and have Wi-Fi at home i would just be using 3g regularly on my journeys nearly everyday i'd say for about 20 mins. I'm just wondering whether 300mb would be enough to last me the month.
  • Will 300MB be enough for a iPhone 4S I'm wanting to upgrade to a iPhone 4S. Service is AT&T. I was thinking about getting the 300 MB since it will only be 20$ a month. But will it be enough? I will probly only be calling and texting. And using twitter, Facebook and instagram and a couple of games. Will it be enough data? I can't get any more data I can't afford it. Will it be enough? My texting and calling will be unlimited.
  • Will 300MB be enough each month for an iPhone 5? So I'm not exactly 100% sure what the 300MB do. But it is the cheapest plan for Verizon, and I was wondering how quickly it would be used up each month? All I would really do with the phone is mainly twitter and Instagram, text and call people only when I need to, and take pictures and videos. And of course a few other apps, but I don't think that has to do with the amount of MB. Will 300MB last me each month if I use the phone for only these things?
