Will 300MB be enough for a iPhone 4S
I'm wanting to upgrade to a iPhone 4S. Service is AT&T. I was thinking about getting the 300 MB since it will only be 20$ a month. But will it be enough? I will probly only be calling and texting. And using twitter, Facebook and instagram and a couple of games. Will it be enough data? I can't get any more data I can't afford it. Will it be enough? My texting and calling will be unlimited.
Oh man, 300 MB is not a lot of data. You'll definitely go over. If you could do 1Gb, it'd be a much safer bet. The risk is too great, cause if you go over; I think AT&T charges you $15 and gives you 1.5 Gb.
It wouldn't be enough unless you are ultra-careful to never use FB and Instagram except when you're on Wi-Fi (twitter might be safe since it doesn't show as many photos).
Social Media does not use much data unless you upload many photos and videos each month. My recommendation would be to go with a mobile share 300MB with unlimited talk and text and if its not enough, 1GB should be for what you have listed above. 300MB, unlmtd talk and unlmtd text for 70 dollars per month before taxes. Go with the 1GB mobile share for an extra 15 per month, at $85/mo before taxes. Wi-Fi also plays a big part in this. Depending on if you will primarily be at home on Wi-Fi or if you spend a lot of time away from Wi-Fi while playing the games. I have a 3GB plan on my FamilyTalk plan for just me and have never gone over about 800MB and I have Wi-Fi at home. Pretty difficult answer. Just depends on the usage and if you are on Wi-Fi or not most of the time. Use http://www.myattrpc.com to calculate the different plan costs and use this data estimator for hours of usage and an estimate on how much data it will use depending on the category you are using it with: http://www.att.com/...alculator/.
I actually have only 300 mb myself. It's definitely not a lot, but you can work with it if all you're doing is Facebook and such like. Definitely avoid Instagram and videos, they can eat up your data pretty quick. Although I have only 300 mb, I hardly ever go above 200 mb because there's free Wi-Fi just about anywhere. When I'm home, I connect to the Wi-Fi there so I'm not using my data. If you ever go over 300 mb, then ATT will charge you an extra $20 for that month and you get a whole new 300 mb to spend for that month.
- Would 300MB of data be enough for this kind of use? I have an iPhone 5 and I was wondering if I'd need any more than 300MB of data? I have Wi-Fi everywhere I go, the network in my area is terrible (0.01 Mbps). I've had my phone for a little over a week and I've only reached 7MB out of 3GB. HOWEVER, the 3GB plan is only $10 more than the 300MB plan… Plus, I have a trip coming up and I was thinking of using my phone as a GPS, but I don't know how much data I'll use. :\
- Would 300mb of data be enough for and iPhone 4s? I'm looking into getting an iPhone 4s and have Wi-Fi at home i would just be using 3g regularly on my journeys nearly everyday i'd say for about 20 mins. I'm just wondering whether 300mb would be enough to last me the month.
- Will 300MB be enough each month for an iPhone 5? So I'm not exactly 100% sure what the 300MB do. But it is the cheapest plan for Verizon, and I was wondering how quickly it would be used up each month? All I would really do with the phone is mainly twitter and Instagram, text and call people only when I need to, and take pictures and videos. And of course a few other apps, but I don't think that has to do with the amount of MB. Will 300MB last me each month if I use the phone for only these things?
- What can I do with 300mb at&t iphone 4s? I was wondering what all the possibilities are for my data plan? I mostly just want to know because I will be using imessage when I don't have Wi-Fi so I will have my data plan on, but 300mb isn't much. If i text like 1500 ish messages/month, will it use all of my data? I have unlimited regular texts, but limited data internet for the imessage.
