Is it okay to boil an iPhone?

I was making some mac-n-cheese yesterday (which tasted good by the way), but I didn't know why my water was turning green so I tried googling it, and I accidentally dropped my iPhone into the boiling green Mac-N-Cheese water. Is this bad? I tried turning it off and on again and it didn't work, so I thought I should take it into the Microsoft store tomorrow. Also, it gave my Mac-N-Cheese a good flavor. Was it okay to eat?

  • My iPhone 4 suffered heavy water damage, will it be okay? I went in the pool with it not realizing it was in my pocket. I was in the pool for about 5-10 minutes before I realized it was in my pocket. It was on when I went in the pool but was off when I got out. I now have it sitting in a bowl of rice and I plan on leaving it in there for a week, changing the rice it's in every 24 hours. Does anyone have any insight on this, like if there's any hope of it being okay or is it done for?
  • Is my iPhone gonna be okay now after the water? Ok so march 15th about 75 days ago I dropped my brand new iPhone 4 in a pond. I fell in and my phone was in my pocket. I did the rice and had a blow dryer up to it. The head phone has the red dot as well as the bottom and apple said it was waster damaged. But my phone still works perfect 75 days later. The only thing wrong with it is when in brightness settings if you put it all the way down the screen goes black. Will it be okay now?
