Lost WhatsApp contacts?
I broke my iPhone and bought a new Samsung phone, I lost some of my WhatsApp contacts because I hadn't saved their numbers to my sim and I hadn't backed up my chats on WhatsApp (stupid I know) can these missing contacts still message me as my number is saved in their phone or do I need to have them added to exchange messages?

- WhatsApp says I have no contacts after reinstall? My WhatsApp was having trouble updating statuses and refreshing my favourites page so I deleted the app and reinstalled it. After I reinstalled it says I have no contacts with WhatsApp, and it just gives me the oppurtunity to invite them to get it, however I know that they already have it. How do I fix this problem? The WhatsApp version I have is for iPhone.
- Whatsapp contacts - if they're onnm contacts am I on theirs? I have the phone number of an old friend stored on my iPhone and they also show on my whatsapp contact list… Does this mean that they still have my phone number stored in their phone and also have whatsapp installed on their phone? The chat thing says they haven't been seen since 28th sept? If they didn't have my number on their phone would they still show as one of my contacts on whatsapp?
