Methods for fixing an iPhone five after water damage?
Recently I put my phone in water with my lifeproof case, and the case didn't work in water like advertised and now my phone has water damage. It's been in rice for a few days and improvements have shown. At first my phone was completely unresponsive but now it turns on and there's lines. It's been in rice a few days after it began to turn on and nothing else has changed. Is there anything I could do to fix this?

One thing you can do is contact the seller of the lifeproof cases and inform them of the situation, sometimes they'll replace your phone if you work them right. Also, make sure the places where holes are (like for charging) are completely exposed, and leave the phone without turning it on. That can revert your progress if you don't wait long enough If you have the tools (screwdriver able to remove iPhone screws) open up the phone and leave it in rice with the insides exposed. Be careful/watch a video on how to properly do this. The case is not intended for intentional testing. Not a smart move.
Trying to power it before drying it out has fried the internals. It's done. Time for a new phone! Check this site
