My 16GB Iphone 5 only has 11.7GB?
On my Iphone 5s thats supposed to have 16GB only says it has 11.6 GB in storage.
I'm currently on IOS9 and its been this way since I got my phone. Currently I have all my space used up (0 GB available, 11.6 used) Is there a way to get the other 4.4 GB?
The rest of the storage is used up primarily by iOS, so you only have 11.6 GB to use for other stuff with iOS 9. There's no way to get back the other part of it.

- Will a 16GB iPhone 5 have 16GB of space? I want to get an iPhone 5 and the 16GB will suffice, however I'm concerned about the actual space. I have a 32GB iPod Touch but according to iTunes the maximum space available is 28.5GB. Could I expect this sort of thing to happen on the iPhone?
- Why does my 16GB iphone only have 13.25GB capacity? I think it's kind of strange that my 16GB iPhone only has a memory capacity of 13.25GB. Does anybody know why this is? I assume it's because that's how much memory is left after the operating system is installed, but I think it's rather bizarre to advertise it as 16GB when that's not what you'll actually be able to use.
- My new 16gb iPhone 5s' storage doesn't equal 16gb? I bought a 16GB iPhone 5s and when i go to Settings > General > Usage, it says i used 2.3 GB and i have 10.6 GB available. And that would equal 12.9 GB. Shouldn't it equal 16GB?
- My iPhone says that 7gb of memory are taken up by photos? I only have 161 photos and 29 videos (all average 3 minutes long) in my camera roll. I don't understand how it's taking up that much space.
