My contacts suddenly vanished(IPhone 4)?
So I didn't even do anything with my contacts and received a message from a number I didn't recongnized and later opened it to see I messaged that person before and it was my friend. Then I realized all the people I messaged didn't have names and I looked at the contacts and it said no contacts. I have iOS 7, and haven't updated for a few months now. I'm just wondering why it did that and how I can get the contacts back.
I think you need to be an Apple account back up with your icloud device. If you didn't apple account setup with your device, you can't backup… Next time you should setup an account and than backup your phone contact number and notes…
- Why iphone 3G games suddenly stopped working, the app open and closes instantly? Hi I noticed from last 2 weeks that my iphone 3G games which used to work perfectly fine suddenly stopped working. Whenever I try to open a game, it opens for a split second and closes immediately. I even tried rebooting my iphone several times but that didn't help. Please advise if you have any pointers.
- Whatsapp contacts - if they're onnm contacts am I on theirs? I have the phone number of an old friend stored on my iPhone and they also show on my whatsapp contact list… Does this mean that they still have my phone number stored in their phone and also have whatsapp installed on their phone? The chat thing says they haven't been seen since 28th sept? If they didn't have my number on their phone would they still show as one of my contacts on whatsapp?
- My iPhone suddenly isn't receiving texts? I just went on a trip to Europe. When I was there I was able to receive texts and send them just fine. Suddenly on my way home (in the airport) I was texting my friend and it said my text failed. I'm home now (where I always have good signal) and I can't receive or send any texts. What should I do? I tried turning it on and off, a hard reset and putting it on airplane mode then back to regular. I have an iPhone 3GS if that makes any difference.
- My contacts keep changing into my parent's contacts? I'm using my Dad's old iPhone 4, so it has all of his data. I cleared out everything that was his but I hate the part where each time my parent's add a new contact to their phone, everything syncs over to my contacts, so I'm scrolling down my list and see a new person I don't know but my parents do. Is there a way to change this?
