My iPhone 4 is using my cellular data even though its connected to Wi-Fi?
The Wi-Fi is working for everything else and still works now that I've turned my cellular data off. It used about 0.75 gigs when it should've been using the Wi-Fi. Please help. Does anyone know why it's done this or how I can stop it from doing it in the future?
I'm not sure, but you should just call you phone provikers customer service number. Not to be rude, but they are there to help you with things like this.
I called T-mobile like once a week for a month before I got an android smartphone.
If cellular is turned off (meaning off in the settings) and your phone company shows usage, then call them… That can't happen.
- Will i be charged for texts on iPhone even though i turned off cellular data and enable 3G? I have turned off my cellular data and 3G believing that everything of texts web browsing etc. Is all based on Wi-Fi. I know imessage won't charge me even though i'm on Wi-Fi. However if i were to text someone who does not have an iphone and it isn't imessage will i still be charged? Because sending messages to them works with my cellular data and 3g off but will i be charged or even charged more since it is off?
- Will I be charged by using my 3G data even if I'm not connected to Wi-Fi? So currently I have no Internet but I do have an iPhone 4S 16GB and my plan is Sprint's unlimited everything plan so I'm able to use the Internet still on my phone. But does anybody know if it'll charge me extra even if I have unlimited data since I'm not connected to Wi-Fi because usually I use my phone's Internet all the time but it's usually connected to Wi-Fi. Does anybody know if I may get charged?
- Will apple replace my iPhone even though its customized? So I got an iPhone off of eBay a few month ago and of course it has some problems like the home button not working properly, the speakers don't work, the promoxity sensor doesn't function, etc. And it wasn't abused or neglected or anything like that. I'm not under warranty so I'm aware of the 149 dollar fee to replace it. But will they let me do that still even though there's a customized pink backing on it?
- Why does my iPhone 4S say 12GB even though its a 16GB? The box says its a 16GB but my phone says its a 12GB why does my phone do that? no I didn't buy it online, my dad gave his old phone to me about a year ago
