My iPhone got disabled even though i'm typing the right password! What do i do?

My iPhone got disabled, I remember the password, i type it everyday and yet it keeps getting disabled. What do i do?

Your only option is to enter DFU mode (https://www.theiphonewiki.com/wiki/DFU_Mode) and restore your device via iTunes on a computer. Hope you made a backup!

  • My iphone won't vibrate even though vibrate is turned on? I have an iPhone 3gs and it worked fine until I updated it (ios 6). My phone, when on silent mode, won't vibrate when I get a message. In settings, everything is turned on, the vibrate part is selected. When the button (above the volume) is not on silent and then is flicked down to silent (vibrate) mode, it vibrates. However, it does not vibrate when I receive a message? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
  • My iphone does not have a Wi-Fi symbol even though it is connected to Wi-Fi? I know it is connected to Wi-Fi because if i turn off cellular data it still goes on the internet, but the Wi-Fi "symbol" isn't there. Also, sometimes it says LTE or 4G when I know it's connected to Wi-Fi. Does anyone know why?
  • My iPhone 4 is using my cellular data even though its connected to Wi-Fi? The Wi-Fi is working for everything else and still works now that I've turned my cellular data off. It used about 0.75 gigs when it should've been using the Wi-Fi. Please help. Does anyone know why it's done this or how I can stop it from doing it in the future?
  • Is there any way I can use my deceased father's iphone X even though I don't know his password or his e-mail password? My dad passed away recently. He had a fairly new iPhone X. I'd like to use it as my own phone but I don't know the passcode. I watched a video on how to restore the phone but I still can't use it because the phone is connected to an itunes account… And since i don't know his e-mail password, i can't reset it. I went to AT&T (where we were on a family plan) but they said they can't help me. Is his nearly new phone destined to be a paper weight?
