My iPhone just fell into water. What should I do?

I just accidentally dropped my iPhone into shallow water and I quickly got it out. What should I do now?
I put it on an air vent (and its in a standing position - with the microphone faced down) there are no signs of it being water damaged. But there's a small amount of water in the speaker. What should I do?

Please help me!
Thanks

Added (1). Also, there's no sign of water on the screen. It works perfectly. But I tried to turn the power off, but all that happens is my phone automatically turns back on. What should I do?

Turn the phone off and stick it in some uncooked rice.

Keep the phone in rice for 4 to 7 days. Do not turn on the phone until you see all of the liquid is out of the screen.

Turn it off and on again and just let it dry.

Put it in rice.

  • My iPhone fell into water I took a blow dryer to it, then I soaked it in a bag of rice. It'll turn on when it's plugged into a wall charger, but it says it needs to be connected to iTunes and be restored, so I plugged it into my laptop and it won't turn on.iTunes won't even pick up my phone to sync or ANYTHING. I need help! I left it in the bag of rice OVER 24 hours.
  • My iPhone fell in water, what should I do? Okay, so its not visibly damaged (the screen has no water on it) and it works fine so far. I turned it off and placed it in a sealed bag with rice. What should I do now? There isn't too much water in the phone. How long should I keep it in the bag? I was thinking 3 hours. Is that too short?

  • My iphone 5 fell into a glass of water? I got out of bed and heard a splash. It took me a minute to realize what happened. I immediately powered it off, but it kept turning on and off on its own and the screen went discolored. I stuck it in a bag of rice. It feels hot to the touch and I'm so afraid it's gone. Does it sound like it will work?
