Otterbox Defender, Impact, or Commuter?
I'm in need of an Otterbox for my iPhone 3gs. I don't know which to order… The Defender, the Impact, or the Commuter. What is your advice for the best one? Ordering online is hard since I can't hold them in my hand. My friend had the Defender whichi s pretty bulky, but I didn't know if the other two would give as good of protection. Thoughts?
I have a Defender for my HTC EVO. It makes the phone a bit thicker, but it's like armour. I've dropped it a few times on concrete and the phone is still in perfect condition.
I've had the Defender and Commuter for my iPhone 4, and they both had great protection. The Communter just doesn't have the screen protector/front protection. It has a lip to help lock you phone in place. I've dropped my phone with both those cases, and the both made sure I didn't have any damage at all. If you want the portability, go for the Communter. If you want total protection, go for the Defender.
