My iphone 3gs is giving me trouble when i update and restore it. It says an unkown error has occurred and I can't restore it. Also I can never turn it on when it isn't charging. But when it is charging it either has the apple logo or says i need to connect to itunes and thats it! Please help! I need real help! Anybody who knows what they are doing!

Today I went to the beach and stupidly managed to drop my i phone 3gs in the sea… Now it won't turn on. You can't take iphones a part but I dried it and put it in a bag of rice cos apparently that helps. Its been there for about 2 hours and still won't work. Anyone know how to get it working?
I just got the iPhone 4s and I want a good case to protect it. I do NOT want an otterbox, I know those cases will protect my phone very well but I just think they are so ugly and too bulky. I want a cute case that is not too bulky. I would like to be able to put the phone in my pocket at times and I'm a girl so my pants pockets have very limited space. If you could put links that will lead me to the cases that would be awesome!
I have a iPhone 3G. I did not have a sim card in it. I did not use the phone part of it. I just use the iPod part on it. On iTunes when I hit check for updates this message. "iTunes could not check for an update to carrier settings for your iPhone. An unknown error occurred (1631) ". What did I need to do to update my software?

I hooked up my phone to the computer, went into my library, and highlighted a book I want to delete. It will not give me the "delete" option in the "edit" section. It will not give me the option when I right click, and it will not let me drag the book into the trash. (I have a macbook) Please help!
I had my phone battery died once and checked my photos and they were gone. I tried taking a photo after and restart again and the new photo will be gone again.
I tried checking the dcim folder in my iphone and it is blank and i have no back up of my newest photos.
Is there anyway to retrieve these pictures? Or are they gone for good? Also why is this happening?
I have iphone 3gs jailbroken with redsn0w 5.1.1, my sister also has the same problem with her ipod touch 4.
If i jailbreak my iphone 4s (which causes the warranty to become voided), will the warranty still be void if i unjailbreak it by restoring my iphone? I prefer answers from those who have tried this, but anyone may answer my question.
I had to restore my computer to its factory settings a couple of months ago. I was able to save all of my media goodies to my external hard drive. Since downloading itunes again I have been able to directly drag my music back into my library: The issue I'm having is that my phone is no longer synced to itunes on my computer. I'm ok with having to restore it but the last time I had to do this it was pain in the *** having to recover all of my apps (I had to write to apple because the app store was telling me I had to pay for apps I had already purchased and were on my account). I don't really know anything about icloud and was hoping someone could give me the best scenario as to how to go about restoring my phone so that I'm able to put music back on my phone with the easiest solution possible.
