I have an iPhone 4 and I dropped it and the screen is cracked up, and I'm completely tired of this phone so I want to change to Samsung galaxy s2 and I'm on Telus. Would I be able to buy the phone off eBay/Kijiji? And then take my sim card out and put it in the galaxy phone?
So me and my mom are switching to a prepaid plan (by the way we live in the usa) and the iphone by itself costs like 500-600 dollars or so.So, my dad lives in Russia at the moment. Will I be able to use that uncloked iPhone from Russia if he buys it there and ships it to me? It just would be way easier for him to do that than buy it here for me.
Like, all I need to know is if it will still work if he buys it from there. Thanks.
P.S, When I say unlocked, I mean that you can switch the credit card and stuff and it will still work. I'm just scared that he will buy it and then I won't be able to use it here or something.

I need to get a case for my Iphone but I don't know if I should get an otterbox or a silicone case. I would rather have a silicone case but I do need protection since I sometimes drop my phone (not alot but sometimes kinda hard). Do I really need an otterbox or would silicone give enough protection?

I recently got a Wi-Fi HotSpot for my iPhone 4s and I noticed someone keeps hacking onto it, is there some way I could track or trace where he is at? His IP shows up as unknown and I would just assume it is Verizons IP since it is coming from my phone. How else could I trace this person?

I'm trying to connect my Netgear DGN1000 router to Puppy Linux but it just doesn't show up. It shows eth0 but I'm pretty sure that's for the ethernet. I'm not sure whether it's because I don't have the necessary drivers for my Ralink RT5390 Wi-Fi adaptor, whether it's because my routers security is Mixed WPA-PSK+WPA2-PSK or because of some other problem. If I do have to change the security will it affect anyone else who uses the internet? The devices that connect to the internet are:
