Transferring cd tracks from an old device to a newly reformatted Mac on iTunes?

Merry Christmas, everybody! I switched from iPhone to Android earlier this year, at the cost of the music I had on my iPhone. Fair enough. Couldn't transfer the files from itunes to my external harddrive anyway because of Apple's formatting. Anyway, this christmas my mother gave me a new iPod Touch for me to have my playlist on (bless her heart), but there was an immideate problem: earlier this year, around August I believe, we had to reformat or reset our mac because it literally hadn't been updated in years, it was just so slow. The reason is my late father, he set up all the passwords and stuff, he really liked Apple and iTunes (literally 1st gen). And in true fatherly fashion, he forgot to write the passwords down for my mother. This has resulted in a fair bit of troubles for us, but that's beside the point.

So, now that I have logged on to the brand new iTunes 12, gotten a new password and everything, I noticed something was amiss. All of our old cd music was gone. EVERYTHING. The only stuff left was music I had downloaded on my old Touch and iPhone.

Thankfully, I found my dad's cd collection on his slim (or shuffle, I don't know, it's one of those slim ones with a selection wheel and a small screen, might be touch, no on-off-button, just a switch that activates/deactivates key lock). My question is this: how do I transfer/synchronize the music from my old devices to iTunes so that I can download it to my new Touch, without losing everything in the progress?

Will Chase SLATE card honor a purchase protection claim for item bought in Amazon?

About 40 days ago, I bought an iPhone 5 on Amazon from a "reputable seller" (not a retail store like best buy or a big chain), yesterday I my phone got stolen, filed a police report and everything since someone stole my wallet as well. My concern is, will chase (slate card) WILL give me their purchase protection benefit even though the item was bought on Amazon? The item was new and below 500 USD, will they reimburse me?

How will Apple get the money for my repair?

I want to send Apple my iPhone so they can repair it. They send me a box and I put my phone in it and send it back to the nearest Apple store and they send it back. My question is how will Apple get the money I owe them them for the repare? Do I send if with the box they sent me? Do I have to do it online with a credit card? Do I have to go to the Apple store I send my phone to and pay it there?

I record my video on my iPhone in landscape but it saves it as portrait?

IIm trying to make a speed drawing video which i have done before so I don't understand why my phone is doing this? I set my phone up on top of some books to see what IIm recording and I make sure it isn't locked on portrait mode. If i record for a very short amount of time it will show up as landscape but my 7 minute video isn't saving as such. Not sure what to do.

How to restore iPhone 6 after forgetting password?

I have an iTunes account and when I connect my phone to my laptop, it gives me the option to update and restore my phone. However, when I click this, it either states that I need to put in my password before I can use the phone on the computer (which is the purpose for restoring it in the first place) or states that there's an issue with the network. I have attempted to connect and restore with iTunes several times to no avail. I suppose I can bring it to a store, but I would rather fix it at home.
