Would a scammer take a deposit?

I'm buying an iPhone and I wasn't able to pay by PayPal and I didn't want to send through the money on bank transfer for her to mail it to me as I got scammed a few weeks ago trying to buy a phone. The girl said I could pay a deposit of $30 and as soon as I receive the phone I could pay the rest of the money… Does that seem dodgy or would a scammer not bother for $30?

My iPhone 6 is totaled and I was wondering if there was any way to fix it?

The screen itself is starting to fall of the phone and is not responsive at all when i plug it into an outlet, however the phone itself makes a continuous charging sound every few seconds. Also some of the frame under the screen is starting to come off too. The phone itself isn't damaged just the screen but i don't know if the screen is replaceable. Can anyone give any suggestions on what to do?

Added (1). Ok so I went to pick up food, and as I was getting out of the car, i must of unknowingly dropped my phone on the concrete. I didn't realize, and I have already left the store, and went home. Realizing I lost my phone, I went back to the store and found it on the concrete, wet. It must've been sitting there in the rain for about 30 minutes. It wasn't drenched but it was pretty wet. It wasn't raining too hard.

I put it in rice immediately when I got home. How long should I let it sit in there?

I love this thing!

It's a Windows 10 desktop computer about the size of an iPhone.

What's so neat about it?

I can use it as a standalone home entertainment system instead of using a Roku, Apple TV or Fire TV… And since it's windows, YOU CAN BROWSE THE WEB AND WATCH ANY ONLINE VIDEOS. Roku, Apple TV and Fire TV don't have web browsers.

And the Kangaroo PC is only $99.

Instagram being really slow?

I have a Iphone 5 and Instagram used to be fast but ever since I joined this groupchat with all of my friends its really really slow. Anyone know how to fix this?
