Do Iphones Know When You Read The Message?

My friend has an iPhone, I don't. I was wondering when she sends messages, does she know that I read them?

Broken AND locked iPhone screen and and iTunes won't connect without putting in passcode?

So I broke my screen on my iPhone 5 and half of the screen won't work. My passcode can't be put in because, like i said, half the screen is not working. So after trying to put it in and failing, my screen says "iPhone is disabled. Connect to iTunes." But when I connect it to iTunes, iTunes won't connect unless my passcode is put in because my phone is locked. It's contradicting what it's saying and what it wants me to do. What to do or how to fix DIY ATM?

Yes, I know I need to go get it fixed or get a new phone but can't ATM and trying to expand the life just a bit longer until I can get a new phone.

Ok I know it is 2016 now and there's things like iphones and other MP3 player but i really like my GoGEAR and was simple and easy. The thing is when I put to charge on my Ps4 computer or the wall. The screen of it puts a dead battery surrounded with white. I can't turn it off even if i push the reset button it just turns back on and puts the battery. I tried the drive and it won't recognize it. I can't ask for a repair because i can't turn it off, it just just in the battery screen can anyone help me.

Last year when i got my phone i synced it up to my itunes account and backed it up on my computer (i don't use icloud) and since then i've have photo albums from 2013 and 2014 when i had my last iphone and i can't delete these but want to

i've looked on my desktop itunes but couldnt find anything w the photos and they were on my last computer, so this new one is synced to my new laptop so i don't know where my phone got these photos

does anyone know how i can delete them?

I'm unsure as to whether my phone is iCloud locked or not. I dropped my phone and half the screen had lines and was unresponsive however the other half was okay to use, I decided I wanted to sell my phone for spares or repairs to go towards a new one so I went to iCloud in settings and signed out, I would've thought this left the phone free of icloud, but then I went to the icloud.com website and erased everything from the phone (I think this is a cautionary measure for if your phone is lost or stolen but i used it because I couldn't delete everything due to the half of the screen being unresponsive) and I don't know if this locks the phone with iCloud. I have no idea if that made sense but I just wanted to know if I will have to mark my phone as being iCloud locked when I sell it for spares and repairs, thanks.
