I'm a Vodafone customer and I recently bought an iPhone 5S on Pay Monthly. I'm transferring my number from my old Xperia which is on Vodafone PAYG. Since about an hour or two ago, my Xperia is now showing the message: SIM not provisoned MM #2. My iPhone on the other hand, shows a signal but when I dial my old number on the landline (assuming the number has been transferred to my iPhone), the landline says my number is not recongised. I find this very confusing because my iPhone shows a signal (no matter how many times I reboot it). However when I go to Settings > Phone, my iPhone shows the temporary number that came with my nano SIM. Has something gone wrong?
Added (1). I'm transferring from Vodafone PAYG to Vodafone Pay Monthly, not from another carrier. And the support page never said anything about turning either of the phones off. It said that when the old SIM loses service, insert the new SIM to the phone, and the old number should be on the phone. Unfortunately this is not the case… Soz I'm being a bit impatient xD
