Buying more storage on iPhone?

I'm always getting notifications because I have ran out of storage space on my 8GB iPhone 5c. I mainly use my phone for pictures and I don't want to delete the pictures I already have but I want to take more pictures, which I can't do because I have no storage space. I don't like using iCloud and I don't plan on using it, I have my photos backed up on there but I don't want to delete them off my phone. I want to be able to access all my photos off my phone.
I can buy more iCloud storage from the settings but can I buy more storage for the actual phone?

I can't watch YouTube on my phone now because every minute or so the screen automatically turns off. Please answer if I can fix this in the settings and where in there, or if it's a problem with the YouTube app itself.
