How to recover lost photos on my iPhone?

All my photos were gone when I upgraded my iOS to 8.1. The initial attempt was failed. Right now, I lost everything on my iPhone 6, but I'm more cared about my photos, which is very important for me.

IPhone 6 colour: gold vs silver?

I haven't yet seen the iPhone 6 in real life, because they are not on sale until halloween where i'm living. If you have seen one, (it doesn't matter if you haven't) which do you think is the best? I want a white front so space grey/black is not an option. I'm worried if I get the gold the antenna lines will really stand out and I'll soon get tired/bored of the gold colour or that if I get the silver it will be too bland.

Anyways, my dad this tequila called (Cabrito reposado [with a goat on it] 35% Alc Vol) and I've recently gotten into drinking (not often though) like malt liquor such as Mickey's. If I take one shot from a shot bottle or whatever it's called, how will it effect me? The size of it is about as tall as my iPhone 4. Should I drink it with anything? Anything helps, thanks. In the iPhone game, A Dark Room, the builder has disappeared. It says "She rests in the corner." Will she ever be able to build again? Do I need to restart the game?

How is a consumer product made?

How are consumer products that are made to fit existing consumer products made? Like cases for an iPhone, or protective shells for a specific laptop model; how are they designed and manufactured to exactly fit the product? Would they do a 3D scan of an iPhone then import it into SketchUp for example and create it around the relief of that ready to be formed in plastic?

I aks because I'm thinking of making a product that will fit an existing product, but I'm not sure how to make it fit perfectly.

Cracked my iPhone 6 screen in less than a week?

I received my new iphone 6 from verizon last Thursday. When I was purchasing my phone the guy offered me insurance but I wasn't sure if I would be able to afford that (I'm a college student) so I asked if I could add insurance later. The guy never gave me a definite answer but told me I have a 14-day satisfaction guarantee. I just want a screen repair but I'm scared they'll charge me since I really don't have cash on me at this moment. Does anyone know if Verizon or Apple will replace the screen? There's an apple store nearby and I feel like asking them too if they could do anything… Please Help IT'S SERIOUSLY ONLY BEEN 6 DAYS AND IT ALREADY BROKE!
