3G disappeared from iPhone after updating to iOS 8?

Added (1). I'm with Net10 TFW and since yesterday I have not been able to access my 3G. This has been particularly worrying for me as I rely on it for quite a lot. If anyone had any suggestions for what I could do in order to try get it back that would be much appreciated.

Added (1). You mean drain more battery constantly with killed background apps then it would with lots of running background apps? Or just drain battery at those few seconds that I'm killing the background apps?

How to get my iOS dictionary to work?

I'm not talking about autocorrect, I'm talking about the dictionary that you define the words with. You tap the word, press define, and it should come up with a definition, but mine keeps saying "No Definition Found". When I tap manage, it gives me a list of dictionaries I can choose to download, but the three I want to download have the circle like they're downloading already, but they aren't loading, and I can't do anything with them. All the others load fine, but these ones won't. I've tried turning it off and on again, twice, and I've restarted my phone, but nothing's happening. I've got an iPhone 5, and just updated to iOS 8.

I tried to download iOS8 about three times and they all failed. It would download for about five hours eachtime. I'm updating it on my phone not on my laptop.

Yep, since I accidentally plugged my iPhone out of the computer while the iOS was downloading. I was using iTunes to download iOS 8, by the way. Now, my iTunes do not recognize my device, and I've tried TinyUmbrella, RecBoot, and pressing my home and sleep/wake button for 15 seconds, they didn't work out. As of TinyUmbrella and RecBoot though, it could've worked but "the access to the path of 'Apple Mobile Device something' was denied", so I failed. Just now, my phone still had this "connect to iTunes" symbol on, but then it became worse, it is only a black screen right now. Sometimes when I press my sleep/wake button an apple screen will pop out, but that's pretty much it.

Seriously, I don't think I wanna restore my iPhone, there are so many things in it. But even if I want to restore, I can't, since my iTunes do not recognize my device. Oh, god. Technology has taken over my life.

we stopped becoming serious, formal and cultivated and instead became these consumer shallow minded Iphone loving unrefined uncultivated uneducated mundane philistines.

I live in the UK, I'm ever so grateful we're not as shallow and uncultured like the americans and canadians.
Most of them are like the people in the Jerry Springer show.
They have no taste for fine arts and music, why they can't even read well!
They can't even watch a black and white film, they are so busy watching pedestrian Adam Sandler comedies and Transformers.
I'm glad I was born into a family that isn't so plagued by society's idiocy.
