Receiving text messages late?

I have an Iphone 5 and sometimes I receive my messages late. When I'm just scrolling on facebook on my phone or something then suddenly I get a notification that I got a text message like 30 minutes ago, sometimes more, sometimes less. But thats the first notification I get from it. Is this a problem in my phone or is it network sided? Any help is appreciated!

Added (1). I have had this as my msg tone for ages now and I recently got an iPhone 5 and Zedge don't seem to have this as a ringtone anymore. I loved the screaming goat so much and more so as everybody hated it as it scared the life out of them. How can I get my screaming goat back please?
