I know it isn't the USB cable because it charges and connects to iTunes when connected to another laptop. My laptop will let other iPhones charge and connect to iTunes, and my iPhone will charge until it comes back on when it is dead. I need to know what I can do to allow my phone to connect to my computer.

So I know a lot of people have problems with the chargers and I've already gone through 3, my original charger and 2 replacements. One if the replacements wasbt compatible and my sister broke the other one and her original one. I decided to get the most expensive one at walmart, it was like 28.60, with tax it was almost 30. So I'm guessing its a good brand and I'm testing it out now and it works great. I want to make this one last because I can't afford to buy a new charger every month, I'm a teen and my allowance isn't that high. Any suggestions or tips to keep it from breaking?
My iPhone 5 just died thanks to what I believe is a faulty charging port. I was looking to buy a new one ahead of my upgrade because the battery life was also giving me a hard time, but I have pictures on my dead one that I have not transferred to my computer and would like to recover.
I believe I've seen devices where you place the phone on some kind of device and it will charge. I don't really know how to describe it because I've tried to Google what I could and without success. Can someone confirm there's a product like I'm trying to describe and if it would still charge my phone despite the bad charging port?

I have iTunes (obviously) and I need to delete a couple songs from my phone. I can't figure it out. I tried.
So I took a picture ages ago on my iPhone 5 and I then deleted it from my photo album, but since then I have took loads more photos and since photo stream only holds 1,000 photos, the picture has now deleted from my photo stream. I now want the photo back. I haven't backed up my phone since I took the photo so I couldn't get the photo back through that. Is there any other way to get the photo back?
