Need your opinions on an iPhone situation?

Adapter skips/pauses songs and activated siri?

I have an adapter (or a "dongle") used to plug my beats headphones into my iPhone 7 and whenever i use it, no matter what set of earphones, it constantly pauses music and skips songs and even activates siri. Is there a way to fix it or do i have to buy a new one?

I'm trying to tether my iPhone to my PC to use my phone s internet connection but I can't get my PC to recognize the phone?

I was charging my iphone when suddenly we had a brownout and when i was about to unplug my phone the power suddenly returned in just a span of seconds. I heard that it is not safe for appliances or devices if it is like that because of the electrical wave. Will this damage my phone? I'm worrying because this is my new phone.
