My Wi-Fi won't work for some reason?
There was a storm that knocked my router out the other night. The next morning, I got my router re-configured and everything set back up -- except for some reason, the Wi-Fi wouldn't connect through my laptop or iPhone. When I try to connect to the Wi-Fi on my laptop, it shows my connection on the list to choose from with full strength, but when I click on it, I get a window displaying "Windows could not connect to --connection name--". From here, it only gives me the options to either "View Network Settings" - which gets me nowhere - or "View other connections".
My router is a "Comtrend NexusLink 3100u VDSL2 bonded CPE", and I've tried everything that I know of that would fix my problem, but to no avail. I unplugged the router and left it off for a while, then pressed the "Wi-Fi On/Off" button, and pressed it again, but still no success in connecting wirelessly.
On my router, where it says "Wireless", the green button below it is lit up, but it's obviously not working. Why could this be? I even tried going in through my laptop to see if I could configure the network somehow, but I'm really having no luck at all.
