According to AT&T's Next upgrade policy, my phone must be in "like new" condition in 18 months in order to get a new phone. I was told at AT&T that this meant that my phone couldn't be physically damaged in any way but the representative didn't mention anything about a jailbreak voiding the "like new" status.
Would jailbreaking my phone (iPhone 5s) void said "like new" status?
My IPhone 3GS is dead totally broken, no longer able to use it. So my family and I are considering changing phone plans with I the only one getting a new phone. Thinking Android (more info is needed) and an IPhone 5S. Went to the local apple store today, and loved the technology on the IPhone 5S. However, didn't check out the Android. What is your preference and why did you choose it? What is your reference on these phones?

My apple laptop was stolen from me last year and I'm having a hard time trying to find a easy, FRIENDLY program to work from PC to a iPhone 4S, Anyone have any ideas? I sure miss my ringtones.
I already know that you need a mac and a apple license to make and sell apps on the app store, but I'm looking for applications that run on windows without the purchase of a license or mac. I have seen people that use virtual machines to transfer xcode to windows, however, I have experienced too many problems with that already and I would still need a license. I do not want to put my apps on the app store, just put them on my iphone for personal use.
Alright so i put my phone (speaker/outlet thing down) into a cupholder today and there was water in the bottom of it and now my phone turns off and won't turn back on any time i hit the sleep/lock button. Does this sound like water damage? If it does, do you know how i can fix it/dry it out? If it doesn't, do you know what might be wrong with it?
Once again I'm asking this question. I have what seems like forever been searching for a textured screen protector for my Iphone 4/4s. My best friend had one and can't remember where she got it or the brand. It had a grainy texture to it and did not show fingerprints.
Please help end this what seems like lifelong quest.

I've got a friend who recently got an iPhone 4 from a sibling who got a new phone. She upgraded it to iOS 7 and it started crashing. It's a hardware issue and we have done everything we can to stop the crashing but the conclusion has been reached that iOS 7 can't work on her phone. Apple Support as helpful as they are told her to buy a new phone.
However,
When she got the phone, the phone store did a total reset of the iPhone and it was restored to iOS 3 or 4. It was one of the really old versions. How can we reset it in such a way? I'm guessing it was a factory reset. Can a factory reset revert the iOS to the very original one the phone came with?

How much should I sell it for on eBay? Of course I'd rather sell as 'buy it now' at a set price, but will auction if need be.
