I've sent messages to a friend and they haven't received them and on my phone it says delivered and weird thing halfway up our last convo it says read and then below that it just says delievered and they haven't received them? Any idea why?
I connect my iphone to my computer using a usb cord but it only says charging. It doesn't show up in my folder.
So basically I'm moving to South Africa in July, and I don't really know much about it… I'm 14 and I live in the US (New York.) Neither of my parents are South African, I'm half Italian and German, we're moving to South Africa because my mom's job got transferred. So-I have some questions:
1. Is it really racist there? One of my best friends is black and like she might visit me or something and I wouldn't want her to feel totally uncomfortable. I know apartheid only ended there in like the 90s, and also my mom said the town we're living in is mostly white, so will everyone be really racist? I'm white btw.
2. Does everyone speak English? This is the one I'm most scared about bc my mom said she knows my school is taught in English, but she doesn't know if all the kids will speak to each other (or me) in English. Do South Africans like speaking English or do most of them speak Afrikaans to each other? Again most of my school is apparently white so i don't know if that makes a difference.
3. Do they have all the same stuff? Like technology-wise, will I get to keep my iPhone and MacBook? Will most kids my age have that stuff?
4. Is school easier, harder, etc?
5. Is it safe? When I go into the city here I never feel unsafe (NYC btw) but I heard South Africa is so dangerous. My parents are getting a security system and a gate.
6. Do the kids like the same stuff as me in like music and everything?
7. Will they hate me bc I'm American and my accent and all?
I synced all my old phones photos to iPhoto. Now I've connected my new phone and I've tried everything.
When I go onto iTunes and sync all iPhoto photos after the whole things done the photos don't appear on the phone.
What am I doing wrong?
I'm currently with T'mobile. I'm looking to lower my bill by switching to Straight Talk on t'mobile's network. Its an iPhone 5s, and its not unlocked. I been hearing alot of ppl saying it will work, just wanted to clarify.
I've had my iPhone 5c for about a month now, (yes I have internet in my plan) at the top it says 3G, sometimes 4G sometimes EE and that but when I go to use the internet it does not connect/work. I'm on EE network and I'm on a two device share plan with my mum. Both have unlimited texts and minutes. Her internet works fine, but mine don't and I have a newer model hand set then her too? Wi-Fi works fine and so does text/call connection. I have already tried resetting the network settings and it just doesn't work: L help as I haven't had this long and my plan is expensive and I expect to get as much out of it as I should!
I was wondering if there are any magazines about TV & Cinema and Gaming (may be sepperately) with iPhone Apps that are free and no need of subscription.
My iphone 4 got water into it but I kept it in rice overnight and it worked fine. The only thing that didn't work was the camera and flashlight. It's been like this for about 2 months. Two days ago I opened snapchat and my camera started to work as well as the flashlight. Yesterday I was face timing and the camera wouldn't work but the flashlight still does. What's going on? Could I get my camera back?
My iPhone 4 was working perfectly for ages, even when the screen was cracked. I took it to get the screen fixed because it looked bad, but now after it has been fixed I can't connect to my Wi-Fi properly.
At first, my phone couldn't connect to ANY Wi-Fi connections (there are usually connections from next door) but then eventually my Wi-Fi began working. I then went out of the house and when returning my Wi-Fi didn't come back on, and I couldn't connect to anything. Everyone else in my house has their iPhones connected and working fine.
Extra information: The front & back of the iPhone was cracked, so they were fixed as well as the home button which was broken.
When doing the fixing, the sim card was taken out (I'm not sure what the reason for this was) and then put back in afterwards.
I currently have an iPhone 5s for Verizon. I no longer have Verizon's service. I'm now using Metropcs on an iPhone 5c that was given to me. I was searching on how to unlock my verizon iPhone 5s and found several sources that said all LTE capable verizon phone already come factory unlocked due to FCC regulations. I tried popping my metro sim in but it still said no service. I thought it was as simple as putting another carrier sim in? Do I maybe have to go to metro and have them add the IMEI number for it to work? Or is it false info about all Verizon iPhone 5S' being factory unlocked?
