I plug my iPhone 5 into the cord and it has a lighting bolt next to the battery sign but I left it there for an hour and it's still on 13%. It's a new cable cord and it also says "this cable or accessory is not certified and may not work with this iPhone" but it's an iPhone charger. I'm pretty sure. What's wrong with it?

I want to buy an iphone 5s with a 2yr contract that's the cheapest way. But I don't have any credit at all. So would I have to pay the full amount which is $700 and I only have $750 how much would I have to pay at sprint? At least to get a 2ur contract with no credit?

I'm travelling to the US to go on a cruise very soon and i don't want to pay roaming charges, can i just remove the sim card and use it just for the camera? I don't need to call or text (but would i be able to text if there was Wi-Fi?) all info is helpful thanks.

So I can't update or download apps without it taking me to my account settings. And even when I will it put it still rejects me from updating and downloading. What do I do to fix this
How much time does it take for 1 percent to go down for browsing the internet? Because mine goes down every few minutes!
Let's say I move to a new house that has no wi-fi. Don't I just have to go buy a router, hook it up to the wall, and it gives off a personal Wi-Fi signal that I can use for a computer or iphone? Is it like that or does it have a monthly bill like cable does?
Added (1). To everyone who is asking if I already have internet access, I'm talking about the internet on my iPhone 4S. I need a Wi-Fi signal or else it runs off 4G which costs money
My iPhone has never had any problems until this morning when the screen wasn't lighting up after I clicked the unlock button on the top of the phone. It worked ok for a few hours, but now whenever I try to make the screen light up, there's a ten or 15 second delay. Once I get it open and unlocked, I can use the phone properly. Does anyone know the cause for this issue or a way to fix it?
