I have an issue with clocks. All the clocks that I'm around slow down or speed up. I'm obsessed with time because I never know exactly what time it is, so I have many clocks in my house. Currently, my microwave clock, oven clock, daughter's clock, stereo clock, computer clock and my car clock all slow down or speed up. The only clocks that stay consistent (which I set the other clocks to) are the watch I wear and my iphone. The clocks slow down/speed within a 1 minute to 1 hour range.
I tried googling it and all I got was information on batteries dying and electrical grids. The only issue I have with this is that I notice this happening with almost all the clocks I'm around. This started occurring (or at least I started noticing) 20 years ago, in 1993 or so.
Does anyone else have this same problem or have any information on why this is happening?
Added (1). Just to add to the rude comments: I have to get my children from the bus stop this year, so actually 5 minutes off is a problem. My car clock was an hour slower. It's not just a minute or two. My kitchen clocks are both 10 minutes faster now even though I just programed them.
I honestly don't understand why people have to add snarky, know-it-all comments. If you don't have the answer or can't say something helpful, then why do you even post?
