What happens if i buy an 'unlocked' iPhone from eBay?

Hi, apologies if this is a daft question, but i'm not really clued up on this kind of stuff, so i'm wondering if anyone can clear something up for me.

OK, i'm looking into buying an iPhone from eBay. The listing says that it is 'unlocked' - does that mean i just need to buy a sim from say, Orange? Is this easy to do?

Why does my phone send SMS to other iPhone users?

I recently got the iPhone 5s. Generally, when I'm texting someone else who has an iPhone, the messages go through as iMessages. However, one of my friends who has an iPhone who I talk to a lot always shows up as texts. She says on her phone it is showing up as iMessage. Recently I started communicating via email to a friend in Germany. He suggested we use iMessage because it is simpler. However, when he sent me a message it came through as a text and my message back was also a text. My iMessage is switched on and my "SMS if no imessage available" is off. His as well. He says he has been communicating with other friends in America through iMessage with no problem. I'm getting frustrated. How do I fix this?

Can't add music from itunes to my iphone 4s?

I'm trying to add a song from my laptop to my iphone 4s, it is updated with the latest ios and my itunes is also up to date. The writing is grey instead of black and I don't know what to do? Help please!

Added (1). I have 6.4GB left and I have bought songs off itunes actually through my phone. It is a song that I had on my phone but accidentally deleted so I should have enough space left to put it back on.

Added (2). The song is also in my itunes library.

How to upload music from a cd onto my iphone?

I bought 2 cds recently, and uploaded one of them to my Itunes account. It worked fine, and when I synced my Iphone to my computer, the music transferred. Then I downloaded the new Itunes update and downloaded IOS7, and I tried to upload the second CD. The music appears in my itunes library, and will play from there, but when I hook up my phone and go into the "On This IPhone" section, the songs appear, but in gray instead of black, and they can't be played, and are not uploading to my phone.

Before you ask, in the "Music" section, "Sync Music" is checked, as well as "Entire music library." I upload all of my music to my phone, not just selected songs. And even if this were the problem, all of the new songs are checked as well so they would upload. The music appears in the library, it is just gray instead of black and won't play. And it does not appear on my IPhone.

I just tried to sync it again, and this time, the songs from the first cd went gray also. Now neither CD works in Itunes. I'm not entirely sure what to do…

I want to know the unboxing gadgets videos' business model and how does it work. Specifically want to know, how do the video makers on youtube channels who do the unboxing of gadgets like iphones, lumia, android phones and tablets etc. 1) Procure the gadget?: Where does the initial money to buy the gadgets come from?; 2) How do they monetize it? I don't see ads on many of their videos; 3) What do they do of the gadgets that they have done with reviewing? Sell them probably?;

How to restore an iphone (ioS 7) without having the apple id?

I fix iphone's but just got one in that requested me to turn off "Find my Iphone" but that requires me to have the apple ID password of which i do not have. Does anyone know a way to get around this? Apple won't help me because its not "my iphone" for security purposes.

Is the Sony Xperia Z any good?

I wanna buy a new phone and i have been looking into the sony xperia z. It looks really good but is it high quality? Is it worth it? Is there any other phone you would recommend to me.don't say iphone because they are all the same.
I would appreciate an answer from some who owns a Sony Xperia Z.
