Typing problems on iPhone 4?

When I type on the iPhone 4, apostrophes become something along the lines of "#x27" instead. Why is this? This is pissing me off, and getting my answers down voted.

Wi-Fi now only works with an Ethernet cable

So I have a Samsung laptop with windows 8.it has always had great Wi-Fi connection. But all of a sudden recently while I was on my laptop, the Wi-Fi suddenly stopped. I looked down to where the Wi-Fi symbol usually is only to find that it had changed into something I have never seen before.instead of being shown as bars indicating my signal, it instead looks like a screen with a cord coming out the side. No matter what I try, it always says "no connections available" and my wireless router never shows up. I have checked everyone else's laptop, ipad, ipod, iphone, EVERYTHING in the house, and there devices still work just fine like normal. I'm the only one having problems, so it must be my laptop, not the router. The only way for me to get internet on my laptop now is to be plugged in with an Ethernet cable all the time. How can I fix this?

Why won't my iPhone 5 turn on?

I downloaded the iOS 7 beta and when iOS 7 officially came out I didn't download it. My phone was working normally until this afternoon when all of the sudden it wouldn't turn on. (It wasn't dead) so when I got home I plugged it into my computer and it wouldn't turn on or connect to iTunes. All it did was flash the apple symbol ever 4 seconds. So I put it into recovery mode and it connected. I tried to restore it and update to the real iOS 7 and when it finished extracting the software it said there was an error and it couldn't restore and update. Now my phone is also stuck in recovery mode. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Added (1). I had problems with my first iPhone 5 and got it replaced. This one is about 6 to 4 months old. I can't remember exactly

Forgotten iPhone 4S password and no access to iTunes backup?

When I was traveling in Spain this summer, I got both my iPhone 5 and laptop stolen. I hadn't synced to iCloud because I'm an idiot, and I've been doomed to using my mom's computer and an iPhone 4 with about 20% of the contacts I used to have on my old iPhone 5. Then I remembered I had an old iPhone 4S (so many iPhones, I know) that I had before the 5 which had a majority of the contacts on it. Probably 95%. I figured I could back up this iPhone 4S to my current laptop's iTunes, and then restore the current iPhone 4 I'm using from the back up of the 4S. But I had a password on this old iPhone and I've tried all the ones I usually use to no avail. I haven't used this iPhone since May probably and can't remember the PW. It says I need to connect to the last iTunes I synced it to and restore… The only problem is that is *** gone with the win AKA with some Spainard who stole my laptop on my *** birthday (I'm bitter, clearly).Is there a way I can bypass this iPhone's password without reseting it? Because that would defeat the purpose and I'd have no access to my old contacts… I'd even pay to have it unlocked if the price was reasonable. Seriously I think I had probably 1, 000 - 1, 200 contacts before and now I have like 100. I'm dying!

IPhone 5 Wi-Fi not working after ios 7 update?

Ever since I got the ios7 update for the Iphone 5 when i usually connect to the Wi-Fi automatically, now it makes me manually go to Wi-Fi settings and find it. When I click on it it tells me to enter a password which shouldn't happen anyway but even stranger is when I put in the password it tells me its wrong. I'm 100% sure and have triple checked that its right and I know ios7 had something to do with it. Either way someone please help!

IPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, Samsung Galaxy S4 or Samsung Galaxy Note 3?

I have the Samsung Galaxy S 4G for over three years now and it sucks so much, so I'm planning on getting a new phone on T-Mobile. I can't decide between the iPhone 5S, the iPhone 5C, the Samsung Galaxy S4, or the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I kind of like the Note 3 because it is big and the features are very cool. But I'm not sure which one to get? Do you guys have a suggestion? Like which one I should get. Please don't recommend another phone besides these four.
