I tried to reset my iPhone and now it's saying my phone isn't activated?
I tried to reset my iPhone because I had 4.9 GB of "other" in the storage and tried deleting everything to get rid of it. I've reset my iPhone once before and it worked perfectly. This time however, when my iPhone came back up it had me fill out my language, country, Wi-Fi, and then proceeded to tell me my iPhone could not be activated "because the activation server can't be reached. Try connecting your iPhone to iTunes to activate it, or try again in a couple of minutes."
I tried hooking it up to iTunes several times and it didn't work. I've been trying again in a couple of minutes for the past 2 hours. I'm confused what activate means? Like to a network? I have a contract with Verizon, so a network shouldn't be an issue, right? The last time I tried this it didn't even ask to be activated. Is this an Apple issue or Verizon issue? And can it be resolved without going into a store?
