I currently own a non-smartphone. I'm looking into the new iPhone and I would like to buy one. I plan on purchasing the phone itself (the $199 one) and little data ($10 monthly).Is there any extra costs or ordeals I would gave to go through to upgrading phones? If so how much and what do I have to do? And if not how would I upgrade? Btw My scheduled upgrade is over the Summer, although I don't want to wait that long.

I have straight talk so pay only 45/month unlimited everything. My phone is constantly dying, and i saw that vw has an iphone 5 for 99 with 2 year contract. It says it would only be 60/month for unlimited talk, text, and 2gb data. Is vw worth it, or not, because i heard they often have hidden fees.
