I plan to buy the new unlocked iPhone 5s (when it comes out) and at first use it as an iTouch, then in the near future, activate it as a regular iPhone.
So, my question is what steps do i need to take to use the iPhone as an iTouch.
-I know i have to buy an unlocked iPhone.
-but what i don't understand is once i get the phone, do i need a sim card to get it to work?
I have the At&t galaxy s4 and I love the hardware, features, and camera. I was alright with the build quality until I saw the 5s a few days ago on Youtube and I began to contemplate about what I want in a smartphone for me. I want a smartphone that has a nice build quality, a good camera, a fluid os and a good app store. I think that the 5s fits me because it has what I want and I like the idea of a fingerprint scan feature. The question is, should I trade my galaxy for the 5s? It has Really bothered me every since Apple showcased the 5s and I want to hear everyone's advice/ suggestions/opinions about whether I should do this or not before I make a decision.
Okay so i have an ipod touch and ill use iMessages to text my dad, who has a iPhone, or my cousins or friends who all have iPhones. (i know i'm a little out of the loop not having an iPhone). But i was thinking about getting an iPhone at my next upgrade in november, and i was wondering if using iMessaes to text other iPhones and iPods counts as a text? Like when i check online to see how many texts i sent a month, will those be counted in it?
I used to have a blackberry and I went to O2 to get my number transferred to an iPhone sim to put in my iPhone and now my mobile data won't work. How do I get it to work?
I was just curious. I was wondering if I could photocopy my <phone or mp4 player> into an actual photocopier, and the phone (like a regular phone not like an Iphone) had an image that I wanted to photocopy. Would that image be photocopied by the photocopier or not? And if so, would the copy be good or would it have a lot of noise or be really dark/light?
Can you tell me which one is great?(looking for a good camera and great speakers) And add some positives and negatives about which ever you think is great thanks.
I saw on the at and t website that is won't come with ear pods but when I looked on the bestbuy website it said that it would come with earpods and have lte so will it or will it not?

I just got the iPhone 5 with AT&T, and I know data is free while on Wi-Fi, but is downloading apps also free because I'm on my Wi-Fi? What I'm concerned about is the second I leave the house and have no Wi-Fi, all the apps I downloaded will then go against my 1 GB of data. Will it do that? Or is it just a one time thing as long as I download it with Wi-Fi?
Also, What does this mean: "Turn off cellular data to restrict all data to Wi-Fi, including email, web browsing, and push notifications"
I'm assuming that I should click that to "off" and not "on" It's off right now.
Added (1). Okay. So let's say I'm at a friends house who has no Wi-Fi, and I want to play one of the games that I downloaded that doesn't require Wi-Fi, will it use data to play the app? Or no?
