I plug it in with the USB cable and it doesn't show up in the finder. When I open iTunes, it shows get started with your new iPhone, and it starts to sync. I have NOTHING in my iTunes, not a song or anything, and I don't want anything to delete off of my iPhone. I just want to move the pictures to my hard drive so I can delete them off my phone.
I have been using Samsung Galaxy 3 and have decided to try apple products as they say it's much durable than what I have now. I just don't know if I should try Iphone 5 now or just simply wait for the release of the next Apple phone product maybe before the year ends or early next year.
I wanted to remove the jailbreak from from my phone, because i was tired of it, and I wanted to be able to upgrade my phone to iOS 6.1.3.it failed.
I connected my phone to itunes, and clicked on the restore button, but itunes told me that to restore my phone, I first had to upgrade it. I wanted to try and give it a shot. Obviously, that didn't work. So I searched the internet for other ways to remove it. One website told me to go on the Cydia app, go to manage, and click on packages. Once i did that, the website told me to click on an app/package and click on "modify" and remove all of them, one by one. And then once I would've finished doing that, I would delete the cydia app, and the jail break would be removed.
The problem is that, when i was half way through deleting the apps/packages, my phone rebooted itself. I was just going to continue deleting the packages, but when i went to go look for the cydia app, it was nowhere to be found.
All of the stuff that i got from the jailbreak, is still on my phone, but cydia isn't.
I tried manually resetting my phone, and that didn't work either.
What does that mean?
What do I do?
Well is there any cases that are charges for the iphone 5 but also have like a plastic screen protecter on not one you can stick on and i don't want it to be that bulky i would pay around the £100 GBP mark
I have an iPhone 4 on verizon and am going to be upgrading soon. My boyfriend, who's not exactly into the whole hype of having a phone, but he knows he needs one, wants to get a tracfone or something prepaid.
If I jailbrake my iphone (its way past its warrenty anyways) would he be able to use it for tracfone or prepaid service?
Also is there any other fees and such if he were to do this?
Yesterday I went to my friends college near my house and I saw this really pretty girl and I approached her and we talked for an hour or so. I'm sure it went well (trust me when i say this), we have some things in common and i made her laugh and i listened to stuff she had to say. She's a college freshman I'm a college 3rd year. After an hour or so of talking, I asked if she had a boyfriend (she said no, while blushing and real red), then I asked her for her number (she put it in my phone). Once I got her number, i texted her my name so she'd have my name and number (Common protocol). Finally, I asked her to walk me back to my car which she did, then I asked her if I can take her out sometime this weekend and she smiled, laughed, and said yes. (everything seemed perfect!) This all happened yesterday night. Today morning, when I wake up, she texts me exactly "I think you have the wrong number". Which is weird cause the only thing i texted her was my name which i texted her last night when i got her #. I reply "Sorry is this not ___?" She read the message a few hours ago (i can tell cause we both have iphones). No response. I have no idea what's going on. But let me just say this, I can tell she is genuinely a good girl cause she's really smart, doesn't smoke/drink (neither do I) and we both hit it off really well and she really seemed into me and vice versa.

I was walking yesterday and my IPhone 4S randomly turned off and it had %76 of battery. I've tried everything. I've help the power and home button and it won't reset. I also tried just holding the home button and it won't go into recovery mode. I plugged my IPhone into my PC on Itunes and it says I need to restore and update it. I press it and it pops up an error message saying its unable to. So if someone could help, that would be great!
So I have a nephew who is schizophrenic and has a severe learning disability and he recently dropped out of college. He left because he was placed on academic probation and now all he does is just sit at home all day. He has no driver's license and he doesn't even want to study to get a permit and his bed time is 5:30 in the morning and he sleeps until like 2pm. He also doesn't want to put an effort to get a job and says he's gonna try to get social security disability to give him monthly checks that he is planning to use to get a mail order bride. Everytime when someone including his friends asks him to do something he always says he is busy when all he does is watch tv and listen to music all day. His parents have tried convincing him to grow up and get a job but he insists on living off of disability and he is currently trying to apply for it. He is 23 years old and he acts like a 6 year old and is really lazy. He has an iPhone but he doesn't even pay for the monthly bill for it and makes his parents pay for him. I tried convincing him to grow up and be an adult but he won't listen. Is there anyway that I can convince him to grow up?
I recently bought The Dark Knight Rises but I can't download it because my iPhone apparently doesn't have enough space to download the game. I downloaded the game on the iPad and it's 1.4 GB. I have about 1.9 GB left and I don't want to delete my biggest app (Injustice). I know that I need about twice as much space to download it normally by using the "Purchased" menu and downloading it from there but I read somewhere that I can download it onto my computer using iTunes and then sync my iPhone to get it. I don't know how to download it onto my computer and then sync my iPhone.
The headline pretty much sums it up. I'm getting a lumia today and the AT&T stores are closed. Does it take the same SIM card?
