Dropped my Iphone 4S in water last night. Will this work?

I'm a very careful person, I take my phone in to the bathtub with me at least twice a week…
But I somehow managed to fling my phone across the room and in to the cat's water bowl.
I quickly plucked it out ( it thankfully landed on it's side and only in there for a second) and wiped it down. It was still working when I took it out except,
1. The sound on videos/vines isn't working
2. My text tones aren't working
3. I can't hear received calls unless they are on speaker phone
D; I used the phone before I did anything to see what was and wasn't working, then proceeded to blow water out of the socket, blow dry it ( from a distance ) and I have had it in rice for about twelve hours.

Q**Do you think that the problems I'm experiencing with my phone from the water will go away if i leave it in the rice?
And why is it that all of the other sounds on my phone are still working? When I go in to alarm and demo any sound it works. And It still makes noise when I receive a call, but not when I receive a text. D;

any help is appriciated

Iphone 5 battery is stuck after water danage?

My brothers iphone 5 got dropped in a pool (not surprisingly) after warning him he should NEVER run around with an iphone near a pool. My dad is trying tonfix the iphone 5 by replacing the batterynsince all the other parts seem in decent condition. The phone is only about a month old. We couldnt get the repair kit until about a week after the phone got water logged so my dad kept the phone in a bag full of rice. When we finally got the kit, my dad was able to take apart the phone easily but when it came to the battery, it wouldnt budge. There was a tag where you should pull out the battery but my dad didn't want to pull on it so hard so that the phone might accidentally break (the phone is so fragile). I thought maybe the phone in a sense "melted" and is stuck to the phone but its most likely not the case. Everytime we pull on the tag though the battery seems to loosen up a bit but not much. Does anyone have any advice on how to remove a stuck battery without extreme force? And also on another note, we did bring the phone to the apple store to see if they could help but they said we would need to pay a bunch of money and my dad is not willing to pay that much money so thats why he is repairing the kit. Again if anyone has any ideas or suggestions please answer.

Can you color the front screen of an iPhone?

My phone is cracked and my parents are pretty mad at me because this is my 3rd iPhone in 2 years. It's only the front screen and it's really shattered. I wanna know if you can color the front screen with a sharpie like people do the back screen to? Haven't seen any pictures so I was just wondering. If I can then I wanna do that and I'll get it repaired this year probably.

Is it normal to feel like this?

So I'm going to a sleepover and I have to bring my iphone but I'm worried invade it goes missing at night. I know it sounds crazy but my phone means the world to me. How can I stop worrying about it? And is it normal to feel this way?

Will my cracked iPhone 4 screen effect the way it works?

I cracked my iPhone 4's front screen a little over a month ago and it's been tough. I have a crack in the top left corner and I'm seeing that the white part on the front is starting to chip off under the glass. Lately my iPhone has been doing weird things: freezes all the time, unresponsive places on the screen, and sometimes I won't be able to press anything on the top of the screen. It's getting so annoying. I was wondering if this is from the cracked screen? If not, I can get a new one in December but can someone tell me if I just have a bad iPhone or if these things are getting worse because of the cracked screen.
