I'm planning to pamper myself and buy something that I like. Should I upgrade to iPhone 5 or wait till the 5s or 6 comes? I already have 4S right now. Or maybe I should forget about gadgets and just save moolah? What you think?
I need to disable 3G on my iPhone 5 running ios 6.1.4.
I Don't want to jailbreak it.
My older iphone (3gs) had a option to disable 3G. Is there a app on the app store which will force the iphone to use 2G/EDGE? I really don't care if its a app… I really need to manually disable it instead of the phone "automatically" switching between 2G and 3G (Which decreases the battery and makes the phone very hot)
If any of you reading this helps me find a app from the app store or something else forcing the phone to use 2G instead of 3G, you will seriously help me A LOT. I don't know why they removed the option to switch between 2G and 3G… Anyways thanks.
Added (1). By the way, turning off cellular data won't disable 3G. Just turns off data… It still uses 3G for talking and text.
Added (2). The iPhone 5 doesn't have a option to disable 3G. It just has a option to turn on LTE and to disable/enable cellular data. They removed the option to disable 3G which is really stupid.
Most are nothing more than de facto desktop short cuts. The real purpose seems to be to collect and incredible amount of detailed data about you. Of course, this can be done to the visitor of nearly any website, but the ability to access, monitor and alter a SIM card is much more convenient.
I brought my iPhone into the bathroom when I took a shower. I put it on the counter. I didn't take a very long or hot shower (maybe 5 minutes). When I got out however my phone would not turn on and when I did get it to turn on it was acting really weird. What happened?
Just got a brand new 8gb koodo iphone 4 and the only way I can get service is with 3G on. How do I fix this?

I know that you have to tap the screen (on the photo you want to save) and then hold it until the context menu appears where it will say "Save Image" or whatever, because I have done this numerous times before. Though, for some reason, when I do this to my work schedule that someone posted to Facebook (and that I want, instead, saved in my phone's album) I tap and hold yet nothing happens or the highlight will appear for me to "copy" the image. Then I open the image in Safari and try the process again. Yet again, nada. I don't want to copy the image because when I try to paste the image in messages or anywhere other than in an email message, the format of the calendar is jumbled up, which is useless. This whole process is frustrating me now. Someone please help!

Now my mom & brother have a contract with Sprint. My mom needs a new phone. I offered her my old iPhone.
If they go to Sprint with my old phone that has been restored to factory settings, will they be able to use it?
My husband thought he lost his AT&T IPhone 5 and bought other one. Can his original iPhone be unlocked so I can use it with another carrier?
