IPhone 5 won't charge, no matter what?
I got an iPhone 5 back in December or January. I later found that the phone was defective in the SPEAKERS, so I got a new iPhone 5, covered by the warranty. Charger worked great with the new iPhone. A few months later, I don't think it got water damage, but it gradually stopped working with the charger. It would connect, disconnect every couple seconds when I moved the cord a little bit.So, I got a new charger. That one charged for ONE TIME, and just stopped working. And then, I got another new charger. That's the one I'm working with now.So, my Dad doesn't know what is happening with it (I'm 13) and he said the warranty won't cover it now. Just 20 minutes ago, I checked the water sensor inside the SIM tray, and luckily for me, it was white. I tried cleaning out the charging port with a silk cloth so it wouldn't cause any more damage. It still won't charge. I think one of the metal pins or whatever inside the charging port got messed up. The iPhone won't turn on because it's out of battery. My iPhone is a part of my life, and I don't want it taken away. So, is there any other way to fix it? Can I charge it a different way? Do I need to get the battery replaced?
