How to make my first short film?

I have to make a short film for my portfolio as I'm applying as a transfer to several top notch film schools. I don't have much experience or friends that do. Any tips? I have an iPhone camera, a small tripod, nothing fancy, a very small budget.

I have a concept in mind but without willing friends and experience, how do I get anything done? Is there any way to do it without having to really go out and pay for a full filmmaking class?

IPhone 5 dropped in water

Ok, so I dropped my iPhone 5 in a pool. It was 5 feet under water for about 15 seconds. Anyways, I took it out of its case, immediately ran inside and put it in a bag of rice, but before I put in in rice, it was already spazzing out and would not turn off. I put it in the rice anyway and it started rebooting with the apple logo, but had all these codes at the top. Is my phone done and dead? Or is there still hope to leave it in the rice?

How to only get email notifications from certain people?

I have an iPhone 4s, and I want to set up the email notification but I get to much junk mail (my spam mail thing doesn't work), so I was wondering if there was a way to set up notifications just for certain emails. I don't want to enable the whole email notification thing because I don't want to my phone to buzz every time some stupid business emailed me. So if you know of a way to just get a notification from people you care about then please tell me I'm dying.

How to get music from lost iPhone?

I lost my old iPhone 4S and I recently got a new one. I want to get music from the old one onto this one but I'm not sure I synced my old one to iTunes on my computer. I bought the old one from my brother and I had to activate it by calling Verizon. If I did sync it to my computer (it's a Mac) then how would I sync only music from the old iPhone to the new one without adding unnecessary stuff. If I didn't sync it, is there a way of getting the music back through my new iTunes on my phone?
