First question, will imessage/facetime work on a mac over just Wi-Fi internationally? I'm going on vacation and decided not to take my iPhone but think I will leave it charge so all my notifications are up for me as when I've gone away before I've lost some info. Are there any negatives to leaving it charge for a week? Any better alternatives?

My husband put all the videos from my iPhone to folders on my desktop, and I want to save all the photos and videos onto backup discs. What type should I use for the video files, and what type for the photos? I want to save them separately?
Also, every video is rotated so that the image is sideways. Will I need to fix this? How do I do it? I put one on Youtube and it isn't sideways anymore.

I didn't receive a phone call yet I got a voicemail from my friend who usually calls at that time I got the message. I'm really confused because I know when I got a call and if I missed it my phone icon would have a circle that's red with a white 1 in it.

Hi, so i have a iPhone 4 running iOS 6.1.2 jailbroken. I have been wondering whether i should update to iOS 7 since my friend is a developer and agreed to add me. I don't use alot of tweaks: protube extender, 3g unrestrictor, grooveshark (never use), tether me (which i never use). Protube is a big deal since my internet is not the fastest and the original youtube app is really slow without protube. 3g unrestrictor also is important because i have a big plan (5gb) that i can use, therefore i want to be able to use all of that without any restrictions.
Other than that i don't use cydia at all. However, i'm wondering whether the battery life is really bad compared to ios 6.1.2. I also don't use alot of apps: Instagram, vine, snapchat, youtube, twitch, candy crush, twitter, and that is it.
I also want to test the newest ios before i get a iPhone 5/5s. I want to know whether i will like it or should i switch to android. (i know that ios 7 will be much smoother on newer hardware and when the bugs are fixed). I'm just so tempted to use the next ios. Should i wait till official release, wait till jailbroken ios 7 comes out (if it comes out), or never update?

Best Buy is running a deal for the next 9 days where if you have an Iphone 4 or 4S, and you are eligible for an upgrade, you can go in and trade it for an Iphone 5, for free. Sounds good, has a slightly bigger screen and faster processor. But, the charger is different, so I'd have to get new chargers, and a new case, and transfer all my stuff from phone to phone.
Has anyone gone from a 4S to a 5, and was it worth it? Even though it's "free," I'm not sure. My 4S works just fine after nearly 2 years. What do you think? Is it worth me upgrading?
