So when I get a text on my iPhone and I open texts it will automatically go to the text and if its iMessage it'll tell the other person I read it. Is there a way around this? (I don't mean turn it off so it only says delivered, this is more to avoid a person or something haha)
So, after I sent messages it would exit out of the messages screen to the screen with the white background listing all your "conversations". I decided to reset my iPhone because I thought that the jailbreak was what was causing the problem, my iPhone had full battery when I pressed reset. It started resetting with the little symbol going around, but this continued for about 20 hours then it ran out of battery whilst it was resetting. I plugged my charger into the phone but it wouldn't charge at all. The icon with the red battery showed up but it still would not charge. Now it won't turn on because it's ran out of charge, and I can't charge it. I'm thinking about taking it to the shop but can they tell it's jailbroken? If so, would they refuse to fix it?
Added (1). Would there be a way I could fix it myself? Any idea on what's wrong?
I had a friend change the code on my phone and i didn't like it so i changed it to something els. It was different then the first one that i had and now i have no idea what it is. I was wed surfing trying to find a way to get on my phone again but everything said that i would lose all my data. I was ok with losing apps and stuff, but i'm not gogint to lose my photos. My phoine is npot synced to my computer, and i need to find a way to unlock it. Please help me find a way or tell me if its even possible to do it without losing data.
My family is switching to Virgin Mobile from AT&T and i was wondering if jailbreaking a phone opened it to any service? Or is there any way to do that?
Alright so I have the iPhone 4. Lately the home button has been slow and voice control would open up randomly and it would kinda just go crazy. So today I picked up my phone after like two hours of not using it and the home button didn't work, at all. I restarted it, and it still didn't work. I turned it off and on once again, this time enabling assisstive touch. I kept looking up possible solutions, but I only tried about one and it didn't work. So I asked a friend about the problem and they said I should update the software, since I haven't updated to iOS 6.3 or something. I don't really update the softwares. So I went to update the software and was told to connect it to iTunes. Well the computer that my iTunes is on is unavailable (hard drive issues, not turning on or anything) so I tried to connect it to a different computer. I logged into my iTunes, and tried to connect the phone. It was recognized by the computer, but not by iTunes. I have no idea why. So now I can't unlock or access my phone in any way, because every time I try to turn on my phone, it comes up with the message telling me to connect to iTunes. Could I just have some advice on what to do? I have no idea. It seems like no one else has this problem on forums or anything.
First of all, i'll ignore the " don't get the iphone, just get an android blah blah" i'm getting an iphone for reasons.
anyways should i? I'm eligible for an upgrade if i get a 2 year agreement. But if i do, id have to wait 2 more years, and i new one could come out soon.

My internet for my GS3 is just listed as Preferred Androind Unlimited Web Only. If I pop my sim into a tmo version iphone 5, will internet work on there as well?
I'd think they use the same 4g internet that comes from the towers, so it would only make sense this works the same?
I've never had a smartphone before and I really want one. I was looking online and I found one for $190 but the thing is I won't have insurance and my parents say it won't last a year. I really want it but for that kinda money I want to know if it's worth the money or will it break soon and easily?
Today was really hot and my iphone 5 got that overheating message, so i put it in a cooler on top of some towels. Now i know this sounds stupid but someone went into the cooler and got something out and didn't notice the phone i guess and the bottom part of the phone was soaking in water for a good 30 minutes. There was no rice around to put it in plus the phone was originally working when i pulled it out surprisingly, everything worked fine then it just shut off. It looked as if it were restarting then the screen turned solid blue for about 5 minutes. After it was blue it went black again and showed the apple logo like it was turning back on until it turned solid red… It has been red for the past two hours and is getting really hot. If you have any idea what is going on or how to help it would be much appreciated. Also it is an iphone 5
Added (1). And to add on real quick: the power button is broken. Not from the water just because the phone came like that with the power button broken… And i have never dropped it.
Added (2). Okay so it just ran out off batteries so i put it on the charger and it registered the charger and then i left it for a bit and now its at a black illuminated screen, any ideas?
I got the iPhone 5 today and It won't let me download any apps. When i was in the store it was working but after i left it wasn't I first tried to turn off and then turn on the phone again but that didn't help. I then called the store and they said to reset the network and after i did that it worked but then it stopped again. I tried to repeat the process but it still isn't working. I even logged out of my apple id turned of my phone and then logged back in. Anybody know what else i can do! I don't want to go to the store. It's really out of the way!
