How to unlock my iphone 5 for free?

I will be going to france in a month and i want to use my iphone 5 out there. Can you guys tell me how to network unlock it? Also, can you guys recommend a good cellphone company in france?

Caller ID not showing on iphone 5?

I have many caontacts in my iphone 5 but their numbers are without international country code. Now when someone calls me their names do not appear even though their numbers are there in the phone. The caller's number appears on the screen (the same which is in the phone). But the difference in the numbers is that country code is given before the caller's number. When i add the code in front of a contact and then the contact calls me the caller id is shown. Now i can't add the code in front of all numbers as there are about 200 contacts in my phone.

My laptop will not connect to Wi-Fi

I have a HP Envy dv6 running on Windows 8 pro & it will not connect to Wi-Fi. It says "Wi-Fi doesn't have a valid IP configuration" every time I try to connect. My iphone & ipad connects just fine. Its only my laptop. I've tried resetting the router & rebooting the computer several time. It allowed me to connect fine with a ethernet cable. I just can't connect wirelessly. Can anybody help?

Design Technology Resistant Materials?

For one of our iGCSE projects in Design RM, we need to come up with a product to help people in everyday problems. The teacher suggests to design a product for storage solutions, e.g. A book case hold your books.

It has to be relatively small, maybe 1 meter wide maximum, it does not need to be 100% original, we can take inspiration from others, or re-make a product but better, or more presentable.

Any answers welcome, please be detailed though, as it will help! Remember it does not HAVE to be storage, something else to help people's problems will do… Such as one of my ideas was to have an iPhone stand, with a cover over the screen. To be used by the pool side when timing laps, protect the phone from water.

How to get rid of history on iphone?

So sometimes i search embarrassing things on my iphone like about boys or periods or whatever so i always get nervous when my friends ask to see my phone cause i don't want them to see what i searched. I know how to clear the history but when i'm on safari if i just click the back button you can see everything i did. How do i make it so that doesn't happen and it's just gone?

I have no sound on my iPhone?

Yesterday I dropped my phone in the toilet. I quickly got it out and the home screen and the buttons didn't work on the side. I put it in rice and now everything works except the volume. When I turned it on I had sound on the lock screen but I went to music and I had no option of changing the volume. Any help?

I have a contract on virign in the uk with a blackberry torch and I have a chance to get an iphone 4s! 1) what phone shops if any can cut sim cards or do if any of them do. 2) will the sim work with my iphone it is an unlocked phone or will virigin be cheapskates and not let it work!
